A business delegation from Celje visited the twin town of Singen in the German Federal Land Baden Württemberg within the Celje International project. We visited and watched the operation of three highly successful global companies: Georg Fischer, Grieshaber Logistik in Breyer. All three operate globally and are also market leaders in their branches.
They presented their activities to us, we looked at the production processes and their organization. A thorough discussion of their plans, challenges and potential business cooperation opportunities followed.
The next day we attended the Economic Forum in Singen. The Celje economy and the Celje International project were presented with the help of a casual stand. During the economic forum, we conducted quite a few B2B conversations and meetings with German entrepreneurs. We also met with representatives of young entrepreneurs – Wirtshafstjunioren Baden – Württemberg. We discussed a number of potential business opportunities in many areas. We also held a brief meeting with Singen Aktiv, the leader of the Singen Small and Medium Enterprises Association.
In Singen we received and hosted us exceptionally well. Mayor of the municipality of Singen, Mr Bernd Haüsler, also visited us.
The participants of the business delegation are already preparing initiatives and activities and further steps related to business meetings and meetings held. We were assured by the entrepreneurs from the German side that they would kindly respond to our invitation to Celje and visit the international business forum, which is being prepared in the framework of the project in September 2018.
