The Celje International Group, in cooperation with the French-Slovenian Business Club and with the support of the Municipality of Celje, successfully held a business meeting on the topic of cooperation between French and Slovenian companies.
At the beginning of the business meeting, the Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Celje greeted and addressed the present guests.
Afterwards, the French Ambassador presented the main economic sectors that are very interesting for cooperation with Slovenian companies. She also presented the French business culture and the common challenges that await us in the future given the serious health situation in Europe and the world.
This was followed by a presentation of investment opportunities both in France and in Slovenia by representatives of the Business France institution. Mr Daguerre answered via a computer from Frankfurt.
This was followed by a round table with businessmen: Leon Lozar, Matej Balažic and Andrew Hunt. They presented the main features of the French market, practical examples of preparations for meetings with French partners, how negotiations are going, what needs to be paid attention to when doing business with the French. And, of course, opportunities for our companies in a very interesting French market of more than 60 million.
Florent Samba presented the Francophone Business Forum, business opportunities in France and also the link with more than 65 countries involved in this relatively large business forum based in Paris.
The common conclusion of all present was the need to be innovative, proactive and to accept the challenges offered by business cooperation with France.
