In April 2022, city of Celje hosted 9 representatives of companies from Bulgaria, who were accompanied by the representative of the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mrs. Mariana Chavrakova, Head of Economy and Economic Affairs. On Wednesday, April 6, 2022, an official reception was held in Tehno Park and the guests were welcomed by the mayor of the Municipality of Celje, Mr. Bojan Šrot, deputy mayor, Mrs. Breda Arnšek and the president of Celje International, Mr. Tomaž Benčina. Representatives of companies from Bulgaria and companies from Celje exchanged business cards and discussed the possibilities of business cooperation.
