The tradition of Celje trade shows, which have been held here since 1967, is carried on by the Celjski sejem trade fair company.

Celje Fairgrounds relies on the most up-to-date fairs infrastructure in Slovenia.
- 65,000 m2 of floor space
- 9 event halls with modern technology facilities
- a parking lot capacity of 2,000 spaces, which can be expanded with additional 3,000 spaces in the immediate vicinities during trade fair venues.
The shows held on the Celje Fairgrounds are visited by over 230,000 people annually, but counting other events the number of visitors soars to approximately half a million. It is the only fairground in Slovenia that has managed to retain the high number of visitors in recent and bring in even greater number of them.
The largest among trade shows is annual International Trade and Business Fair (MOS), which has grown into a mega business and trade fair event in the region. Every year it lives up to its reputation as the ‘Fair of All Fairs’ and boosts its cosmopolitan image by featuring exhibitors from more than 30 countries, which is the result of our active involvement in the internationalization of the trade fair activities.
COMMERCIAL TRADITION
Numerous companies carry on Celje’s historic tradition as the commercial centre of the region by continually establishing various forms of international trading and networking.
The Kovintrade Group consists of the parent company Kovintrade d.d. Celje and a network of subsidiaries and representatives in 13 European countries. The Group trades in metallurgical products, construction machinery, as well as energy, heating and air-conditioning technology with 5500 buyers and 1500 suppliers from 50 countries around the world.
